“Dynamic assignment for replies” is a feature in the Assignment Management section of every non-blast campaign, and in the Reply Management section of every blast campaign.
Dynamic assignment for replies gives you a link to batch out replies to texters.
Turned on, it generates a link that texters can use to self-assign themselves batches of conversations in need of a response.

How to turn on and access the link
On non-blast campaigns, you can turn on the link by opening “Assignment Management” and toggling on “Dynamic assignment for replies”.

The link is on by default in blast campaigns.

To access and share the link, copy it from the field where it is generated after you turn on the link. On blast campaigns, you can also access the reply link on the campaign sending page.

What replies does the link make available?
On non-blast campaigns, texters will be requesting conversations that have been released from other texters (“unassigned” conversations, see more below).
On blast campaigns, texters will either be requesting conversations where a contact replied to an initial message, or conversations released by other texters in need of response.
Customizing the Batch Size
You can customize the number of replies that texters receive at a time. By default, texters will receive 25 replies each time they click the button, but you can increase or decrease the number depending on your needs.

For example, if your campaign requires thoughtful, considered responses, you might lower the number. But if texters can move quickly through conversations, and you have a lot of them needing handling, you might raise the number.
Note that if you are using the Release Unhandled Replies feature, it will also unassign any responses requested through the dynamic assignment link that end up going unhandled. If your timer is set for a short time in Release Unhandled Replies (15 minutes), and your batch sizes for replies are high (50), texters may not get to every conversation in their batch before they are automatically unassigned.
How to Release Conversations
Conversations can be released and made available for request via the dynamic assignment link in three ways.
Release Unhandled Replies feature
The Release Unhandled Replies feature automatically releases any conversation in need of response after a set number of minutes have elapsed.

Texters use “Release My Texts”
Texters can click the “Release My Texts” button on their homepage when they are finished texting. This will release all of their conversations across campaigns.

The button is often used when a texting shift ends and other texters are coming on to handle responses, or when a texter is “powertexting” - sending thousands of initials without pausing to respond. It can be turned on or off on the Settings page.
Unassign in Message Review
Conversations can always be released using the “Unassign” feature in Message Review.

Using the Combined Dynamic Link
On non-blast campaigns, if Dynamic Assignment for Initials and Dynamic Assignment for Replies are both enabled, you can generate a combined “dynamic” link. This combined dynamic link will appear in the Dynamic Assignment for Replies section of Assignment Management.

Texters who click the dynamic link will have two buttons added to their campaign screen, one for requesting initials and another for requesting replies. The dynamic link is a great option if you intend to share both links anyway and want to make accessing replies easier overall for your texters.
What the Texter Sees
When you share the dynamic replies link, and texters click on it, they’ll be brought to the campaign in Spoke. Texters can then click a button called “Send First Replies” to receive a set amount of conversations needing a response.
Example of what a texter would see after clicking on a dynamic assignment link for replies. Clicking the button would assign the texter a set number of replies.
After texters have finished replying to their first batch of conversations, they’ll see a popup asking them if they want to request a new batch.
If texters click “Request More”, they’ll receive a new set of replies in the number you set for the campaign.
If they click “Done For Now”, they’ll be taken back to their Home screen.
After the first batch of conversations is handled, the request button on the campaign will update to “Request More Replies”.

How many batches can texters request?
Texters can request as many batches as there are conversations available, with one caveat: they will have to handle all of the conversations they requested before they can see the option to request another batch of them. So for instance, if someone they just replied to responds back, they'll have to handle that response before they can request another batch of unhandled replies.
