Hey everyone!


We have a few updates we’re making to Spoke, and wanted to be sure to tell you about them. As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions. 


New features

Faster filter landlines: Filter landlines will now be significantly faster, and occur in the background as you upload your contacts. After your contacts are finished uploading, the “Contacts” section will tell you how many landlines were removed.  This means your landlines will be filtered without you having to affirmatively press “Filter Landlines.”


Area code choice: Area code selection has been renamed “Phone Numbers” and will be moved directly below the “Integrations” section.


Reassignment protection: You can now mark tags inside the “Tags” section with “Reassignment Protection” which means they won’t be manually released via Release Unhandled Replies and also won’t be reassigned via Dynamic Assignment for Replies. You can still, though, reassign contacts marked with this tag from Message Review. This will be especially useful for sensitive conversations you don’t want accidentally reassigned to other texters. 


Bug fixes


Supervolunteer permissions: Fixed a bug that prevented Supervolunteers from reassigning and unassigning texts inside Message Review. 


VAN Answer Action Data display issue: Fixed an issue that caused VAN survey questions to spill over below the Spoke scripts section if you had a large amount of survey questions / activist codes / canvass responses. 


Updates coming soon


VAN Events: The VAN events sync will be out very soon! If you have a MyCampaign key, you’ll have the option to enter a VAN event ID inside the “Integrations tab” on the campaign creation page, and the ability to sync event statuses back to VAN. 


Follow-up campaigns: You will soon have the ability to easily create new text campaigns and target contacts from previous text campaigns (without uploading new data) based on a contact’s previous survey response, tag, or contact message status.


Texter information: Admins and owners will be able to view the contact’s first name, last name, phone number and VAN ID from the texting window.


Display VAN ID to all texters: Owners will have a new on / off setting that displays VAN ID to all texters for fast and easy lookups.


Reply rates: Reply rate % will be added to the data display page for each individual campaign.
