We’re pleased to announce new features in Spoke to make it easier to copy campaigns, select area codes, filter canned responses, and more. As always, feel free to reply to this email with questions.

Copy unlaunched campaigns: You can now copy unlaunched campaigns in Spoke! This has been a popular feature request, so we’re particularly excited to offer this feature to our customers. The button to copy an unlaunched campaign can be found next to the start button on the campaign’s creation/edit page.

Copied campaigns include area code and texter panel settings: To save you time when working with copied campaigns, we’ve updated Spoke to copy the area code and texter panel settings when creating a new campaign via the copy function. And of course, you can still customize these settings in the new copied campaign.

In other words, Spoke will remember if you set custom area codes for your campaign or turned on the conversation URL, freeform notes, or tags settings. And if you’ve integrated your tags with VAN, Spoke will copy the action handlers you mapped to your tags as well.

Select state or any area codes: We’ve beefed up area code selection to give you more ways to select sending phone numbers. You can now tell Spoke to provide sending phone numbers from any available area code or from area codes within a specific state. And if you prefer to tell Spoke to look for numbers from specific area codes, that works too! The option to set a default area code setting is available to account Owners in the Spoke admin Settings, and you can also choose specific area code settings for a campaign in its Phone Numbers section.

Searchable canned responses: You can now search your canned responses to filter to just the ones you need! We’ve optimized the canned responses features for speed, so if your campaigns contain a lot of canned responses, this release will make them faster to load as well.

Permanent conversation linksWe’ve transformed the conversation links feature to ensure that the link permanently goes to the conversation, even if it’s unassigned or reassigned to someone else. Users with Supervolunteer, Admin, or Owner permissions can click on the link to be taken to the conversation in Message Review, where they can unassign or reassign it, go to the conversation and reply as the texter, and more.

Supervolunteer access to scripts and canned responsesBy default, users with Supervolunteer permissions only have access to the Texter and Assignment Management panels of a campaign, Message Review, and Troll Watch. As of this release, Owners can also grant Supervolunteers access to a campaign’s Script and Canned Responses sections. This optional feature can be turned on in the Spoke admin Settings.

Name capitalization improvementsIf you upload contact lists with names in all lowercase or all caps, Spoke will automatically correct those names to show proper capitalization - while leaving mixed case names intact (e.g. McDaniels will stay consistent). And if someone’s first name includes two names, like Maria Cristina, we’ve made a fix to ensure that Spoke won’t automatically put the second name into lowercase.

For political customers ONLY: Political customers will now have the ability to register for toll-free from within the Compliance section of Spoke (accessible only to Owners). If your organization is not a political party, campaign, or PAC, you currently don’t need to worry about toll-free registration.
