It’s easy to get started on the Scale to Win Dialer! You can access the Dialer on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, and use almost any web browser (including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox).


The campaign or organization with which you are calling will share a link with you: the “Caller URL.” It will start with https://organizationname.call.scaletowin.com/. All you need to do is click that link to get started!


Once you click that link, you’ll be brought to a screen that looks like this:

This is the Dialer home screen. You’ll never need to create an account or log in; you simply visit this Dialer home screen in order to get started making calls.


Using the Scale to Win Dialer is easy. Generally, you’ll follow four simple steps:


  1. Preview the script

  2. Dial into the dialer through either your phone or browser

  3. Make your calls, talk to voters, and answer questions about their responses

  4. End your session using the “End Session” button after your last call


The first thing you should do is click “Preview Script,” to read and click through the call script that your campaign or organization has prepared for the calls you’ll be making. This is what you will read when having conversations with the contacts you are calling. It is also the place where you will record the contacts’ responses.


The “Preview Script” looks identical to the script you’ll see when you’re making calls, so it’s strongly recommended to familiarize yourself with it and practice saying it out loud before talking to a live human on the other end.

Try clicking different answer options while practicing the script because some options will lead you to different parts of the call script than others. 


In the preview script (and when you’re actually making calls), you can click the button that says “Change previous answers” in the upper left of your screen at any time to take you back to the previous question. You might use this if you accidentally click the wrong answer option or if the contact you’re talking to changes their mind.

When you arrive at the end of the preview script, you’ll see a screen with multiple options:


  • “Change previous answers”: this option at the top of the screen will take you back to the most recent question you filled in.

  • “Reset Survey”: this button will take you back to the very beginning of the preview script to fill in all the answers again.

  • “Exit Survey Preview”: this button will take you out of the preview script and back to the Dialer home screen, where you can start making calls when you’re ready.
