The “Do Not Call List” menu option on the left-hand side of your dialer organization’s admin interface allows you to add phone numbers that you wish to remove from future communications by your dialer organization.

The “Do Not Call List” page in the dialer admin interface.

Phone numbers that you add to your “Do Not Call List” will be immediately blocked from being called by all calling campaigns in your dialer organization.

Even if a phone number on your Do Not Call List is included in the contact list of a future, existing, or currently live call campaign in your dialer organization, the Scale to Win Dialer will not place calls to this phone number.

You can use this feature to upload lists of phone numbers of contacts who previously requested not to be called again.

How to Add Phone Numbers to Your Do Not Call List

The “+ ADD PHONE NUMBER” and “UPLOAD A CSV” buttons on the Do Not Call List page.

There are three methods for adding phone numbers to your Do Not Call List:

  1. Manually: You can click the “+ ADD PHONE NUMBER” button to add an individual phone number to your dialer organization’s Do Not Call List. With this method, you add phone numbers one at a time.

  1. Via CSV Upload: You can select the “UPLOAD A CSV” button to upload a spreadsheet of phone numbers that you wish to add in bulk to your dialer organization’s Do Not Call List. After uploading your CSV, you will be prompted to select from a dropdown menu the column from your spreadsheet which contains your phone numbers. Once you’ve made that selection, press the “IMPORT” button.

  1. During Calls: You can set up any call campaign to include an additional canvass result option that gives your callers the ability to add contacts they’re talking with to your Do Not Call List. To add this option, scroll down to the bottom of Question 1 (Canvass Result) in your call campaign and select +ADD ANSWER.  Then after you’ve named the answer, you can select Add to ‘Do Not Call’ List as the disposition. When a caller selects this answer during a call, that contact  will be automatically added to your dialer organization’s Do Not Call list.

Managing Your Do Not Call List

The fields contained on the Do Not Call List page.

The fields on the Do Not Call List page indicate the following:

  • Phone Number: This is the phone number that was added to your Do Not Call List.

  • Added By: This is the dialer administrator who added this phone number to your Do Not Call List.

  • Added At: This indicates the date and time at which this dialer administrator added this phone number to your Do Not Call List.

  • Actions: Click the trash can-shaped icon to remove this phone number from your Do Not Call List. This will immediately re-enable calls to be made to this phone number from calling campaigns in your dialer organization. If this phone number is loaded into a currently active calling campaign, it will be eligible to be dialed by that active campaign.

Clear List

To remove all contacts from the Do Not Call list, select Clear List. This will remove all numbers added to this Do Not Call list regardless of input type. Choose this option if you would like all contacts to be callable again. If you’d like, you can use this option and rebuild a partial version of your Do-Not-Call list from another system and re-upload it.

View Skipped Contacts on Your “View Results” Page

When viewing the results of call campaigns that contain phone numbers from your Do Not Call list, you will see a count of “Skipped” contacts in the “Call progress” box (in the top left-hand corner of the campaign’s “View Results” page):

The “Call progress” box of a call campaign’s “View Results” page includes the number of contacts “skipped” in the course of this call campaign, due to being contained in your Do Not Call List.

These “Skipped” contacts are the ones that are included in your Do Not Call List and, as such, were not dialed in the course of the call campaign.

The total number of called contacts in this “Call progress” box will still total “100%” for your call campaign, with the skipped contacts on the contact list excluded.
