Optional: you can decide whether you’d like your call campaign to automatically leave pre-recorded voicemail messages on the answering machines of landline phones that don’t answer your campaign’s call.

When this feature is enabled, if a landline phone number contained in your contact list does not answer the call from your call campaign and the Scale to Win system detects that the number has an answering machine set up, then the dialer will leave your pre-recorded message on its answering machine.

Note: Due to telecommunication regulations, the Scale to Win Dialer does not leave voicemails on phone numbers it detects to be cell or VOIP phones. (Read more in the “Compliance” section below.)

Enable the Voicemail Feature

To enable the voicemail feature, simply click the toggle that reads “Enable voicemail drop.” Then, upload your desired voicemail message as an MP3 or WAV audio file, by either dragging and dropping the file into the box labeled as such, or by clicking the box and selecting the file from your computer. Make sure your voicemail file is no longer than 60 seconds.

Once you’ve done this, click “Continue” to move onto the next step of the campaign creation process.

View Results

Once your call campaign is active, you can view how many voicemail messages have been left by going to the “Call Status” bar graph on the top right of your campaign’s View Results page

The “Left Voicemail” bar in this graph represents the number of voicemail messages that have been left on the answering machines of landline phone numbers contained in your contact list.

The “Left Voicemail” bar of the “Call Status” bar graph represents the number of voicemail messages left on landline answering machines by your campaign.

This is not to be confused with the “Answering Machine” bar in this graph, which is mutually exclusive and represents the number of calls for which the dialer detected an answering machine but did not leave a voicemail message on them, because they were not detected to be a landline phone number.

Compliance

Read below about some of the ways that Scale to Win helps you comply with telecommunications regulations.

  • Landlines, not cell phones: The Scale to Win Dialer does not leave your voicemail messages on phone numbers that it detects to be cell or VOIP phones (or anything other than landlines).

  • Three-strike rule: The Scale to Win Dialer disables your dialer organization from leaving voicemail messages on the same landline phone number’s answering machine more than three times in a thirty-day period.

  • Do Not Call List: Please be sure to add the phone numbers of contacts who request not to be contacted again to the Do Not Call List in your dialer organization’s admin interface, to ensure that these numbers are removed from future communications, including voicemails, by all call campaigns in your dialer organization.

Once you’re done with this step, head to the next step: choosing your number of passes!
