We’re very excited to share our newest round of product updates, including new sending options and in-tool features to level up your texting experience.


Shortcode Sending: STW Text now offers full support for shortcode sending, giving you an additional way to reach your most engaged, enthusiastic subscribers.


Whether you're looking to transfer an existing shortcode number to STW Text or start fresh with a new one, we've got you covered. With shortcode sending, you can:


  • Enable custom opt-in, opt-out, and help keywords that will automatically respond with your selected message.

  • Collect and maintain an opt-in list of your subscribers — tracked via manual subscriber upload, webform submissions, or keyword inbound messaging.

  • Automatically add your ActBlue donors to your subscriber list.


Note: Shortcode numbers can only be used to message opted-in contacts. Shortcode numbers carry special discounted pricing, as well as a flat $500 per month fee. If you intend to send more than 100,000 messages per month, Scale to Win can waive this $500 fee in 2024.

Here’s what else is new to the tool this month:


  • Number Swaps in Active Campaigns: You can now pause a campaign and swap in a new sending number if you’re experiencing deliverability issues.

  • Google Cloud Storage List Uploader: Upload contact lists into campaigns directly from Google Cloud Storage. Simply navigate to your Integrations page, select “Google Cloud Storage Import”, and fill out the form to connect to your GCS bucket. This feature allows seamless integration and direct access to your stored lists, making it easy to manage and import your data.

  • In-Tool Link Shortener Requests: We’ve made it even easier to request your custom shortlink domains. From Organization Settings, click into “Domain Names”, and select the “Request Domain” button to send your request directly to our team. All we need is your preferred domain name (you’ll see in real time if your choice is available!), and a fallback URL. We’ll handle the rest and alert you when your new shortlink is ready!
