You can see detailed information about your deliverability in your CSV exports. To view this data, export your campaign's CSV and check the “error codes” column.  Below, we’ve provided a breakdown of common error codes.

Explanation

4432 

Messaging to country forbidden. The carrier’s system indicates the account associated with the message is not enabled for messaging this zone, this country or this country is outside of messaging reach (specifically for MMS).

4700, 4701, 4702, 4720, 4721, 4750, 5620, 5650, 30003, 30005, 40001

The phone you tried to reach is off, out of service, or is an unreachable destination.

4720, 30005, 30006, 40001

The phone you tried to reach is likely a landline.

4470, 4750 (usually a phone that has been turned off, but occasionally is spam on AT&T), 4770, 30004, 30007, 40002, 40003, 40015

Your message was filtered as spam. Messages can be blocked for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to volumetric filtering, content blocking, and SHAFT violations (including specific keywords), or because the originating address has been flagged for repeated spam content.

4730, 4740

No route to destination carrier or no roaming route exists.

4751

Carrier has rejected message length as invalid or too long.

4780

You have exceeded your allowed throughput on 10DLC to T-Mobile subscribers. Feel free to reach out to us for additional guidance.

4781

 

You have exceeded your allowed throughput on 10DLC to AT&T subscribers. Feel free to reach out to us for additional guidance.

4785

You have exceeded your allowed throughput. Please retry after a cool-off period. Feel free to reach out to us for additional guidance.

4795

The message was blocked due to the toll free number not being verified. Please register for toll-free as soon as possible.

5201

 

Transient downstream error from one of the messaging aggregators. 

9999

Unknown error from downstream. Carrier reported a failure code that the downstream vendor cannot map.

21408 

Message not delivered because it was sent to a device that is not configured to receive SMS. Usually seen when attempting to text a number that is located in a US territory or outside the US.

21610 

You are attempting to send a message to a number that has previously opted out of receiving messages from your organization using a STOP keyword.

30001

You have sent more messages on this phone number than can be queued. 

30008

Message deliverable unknown. The destination carrier returned a generic error message. Usually happens on MMS campaigns.
