By default, all new users start as Texters. To change a user's permissions level, go to the People page and select the dropdown menu in the Role column in the user's role.
Here's a breakdown of what each role can access.
Super Admins: (Only for Spoke accounts using credits or utilizing multiple teams)
Access: Can access everything across all Spoke teams, including the Global Settings feature to manage credits and compliance across teams. Note that this role is, by default, hidden. Please reach out to us if you need to add Super Admins to your account.
Restricted: There are no restrictions for Super Admins. They have access to everything.
Owners:
Access: Can access everything except the Global Settings feature (credits and cross-team compliance).
Restricted: Divvying out credits across Spoke teams. Please reach out to us if you need access to the credits feature.
Admins:
Access: Admins can access all features related to building campaigns and managing users (uploading and exporting data, scripts, assignment settings, adding new people to the organization, Message Review).
Restricted: Admins do not have access to Global Settings, Usage, the Compliance page, or the Settings page where organizational settings and API keys are managed.
Supervolunteers:
Access: Supervolunteers have access to assignment features: the Texter and Assignment Management panels of campaigns as well as Message Review. Owners and Superadmins can also choose to give Supervolunteers access to campaign scripts and canned responses using a toggle on the Settings page.
Restricted: Supervolunteers cannot upload or download data, access organization or campaign settings, access API keys, or view features beyond what’s listed above.
Vetted Texters:
Access: Sending texts. There is technically no difference (right now) between vetted texters and regular texters.
Restricted: Vetted texters have no admin privileges and cannot view any part of Spoke beyond the campaigns to which they’ve been assigned.
Texters:
