Use this feature to add multiple iterations of your initial script to a campaign to reduce message filtering and perform A/B tests! Spoke will rotate through your scripts automatically and provide data about how each initial script is performing, making it possible to find the most impactful P2P messages.
In our experience, script variance can significantly help reduce message filtering. We recommend using at least 3 script variants and keeping each script version for the duration of your campaign. If you’re using this feature to find the best initial message, we recommend writing at least three versions of your script with at least 1000 messages (but the more the better!). Once you’ve found the most effective script, you can delete your less effective script variants.
Getting started: In the Script section of your campaign, select the rotating arrows icon to add your first script variant. Note that script variants cannot be added to campaigns built before August 5th, 2021.

For the Script Variants feature to work, you need to add at least one variant. Once you’ve added one variant, a button will appear called “+ Add A Script Variant” - click this to add another variant.

You can add as many different iterations of your initial script as you like. After you're done writing your initial script variants, be sure to finish the rest of your script, and then you can launch your campaign!
Note: As of April 2022, you cannot add variations of an initial message via the Google Doc import. You’ll need to upload your script with your original initial message, and add the variants after uploading your Google Doc script.
Data Display: To view the performance of your variants, go to your campaign's data display page by clicking on the name of your campaign. The Script Variants section will display each script’s reply rate %, opt out rate %, and filter rate %.

Note: this feature randomly rotates through each initial message, so it’s unlikely each script variant will reach the exact same number of contacts. That said, each data point we display is based on the number of contacts who received this message, so even if the “# of contacts” is slightly unequal, your results are never skewed.
While we don’t currently display survey response rates for each script, you can export your campaign’s data to a CSV by clicking “Export Data” on this page to receive an email, then selecting the “Campaign” export option. The CSV will display which contact received each script variant. From here, you could find your survey response results per script variant.
