The ActionKit webhook allows you to sync short code opt-ins collected in ActionKit to your Scale to Win Text account.  

Note:This feature requires both an existing ActionKit Integration and an activated short code number on your account.

Enable the Webhook

  1. Log into your Scale to Win Text account and navigate to your Integrations page. 

  2. Select your ActionKit Integration and click the pencil icon under Actions. 

  3. Enable the short code subscriber webhook. 

  4. Click View Webhook URL and copy the Endpoint URL.







Note: The Webhook URL contains sensitive information, including your ActionKit password. Be cautious when sharing or storing this URL to protect your data. 

Add the Webhook in ActionKit

  1. Log in to your ActionKit account.

  2. Go to Pages.

  4. Select Edit Push API Endpoints.



Editing Push API Endpoints

  1. Click Add Endpoint in the top left of the page. 

  2. In the URL field, paste the Endpoint URL from Scale to Win Text.

  3. In the Name field, enter a name for this webhook (e.g., “Scale to Win”).

  4. Leave the Triggers field blank.

  5. Set the Rate Limit field to 100 (the default). 

  6. Set the Retries field to 10.

  7. Click Save to complete the setup. 



Note: A "Not Connected" warning may appear after adding the endpoint. If refreshing the page turns the warning green, the connection to Scale to Win is successful. If the warning remains red, there's an endpoint setup problem. Double-check the URL for accuracy. If problems persist, contact Scale to Win support at support@scaletowin.com.

Confirm the Connection in Scale to Win Text

  1. Navigate to your ActionKit Integration in Scale to Win Text and click Edit. 

  2. You should see a green check mark with the message “Connected to ActionKit” along with a  timestamp.

  3. The “Last form received" field will be blank. 




Connect the Webhook to an ActionKit Page

Important: This integration should only be configured for ActionKit pages that are set up to collect short code opt-ins with the appropriate "call to action" disclaimer. The integration does not verify how opt-ins were obtained. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all short code regulations and standards. 

  1. Now that the webhook connection between ActionKit and Scale to Win Text is established, you’ll need to link the endpoint to any ActionKit pages that contain a short code opt-in form. Return to your ActionKit account and navigate to Pages. 

  2. If you haven’t created your ActionKit page(s) yet, pause here and create them before continuing.


  1. Click into the page for which you want to set up the opt-in sync and navigate to the After-action info section at the top of the page. 

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click the arrow to expand the “Push API” section.

  3. In the “Push API” section, check “Send Pushes”.

  4. Select your newly created Scale to Win endpoint in the “Endpoints” field.

  5. Click Save.

Repeat this process for any additional pages that collect short code subscriber opt-ins.




You have successfully linked your new Scale to Win webhook endpoint to your ActionKit page. All future sign-ups from this page will now be automatically added to your short code subscriber list in Scale to Win Text.

Setting up the Webhook on Global ActionKit Pages


Important: This integration assumes your ActionKit pages are configured to gather short code opt-ins using the appropriate "call to action" disclaimer. The integration does not verify how opt-ins were acquired. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all short code regulations and standards. Once you’ve selected your global "Triggers", any page type on the trigger list, whether created today or in the future, will automatically add contacts to your short code subscriber list in Scale to Win Text.

To attach your Scale to Win webhook endpoint to a global page type, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to your ActionKit account and navigate to Pages.

  2. On the right-hand menu, click Other, then click Edit Push API Endpoints. 

  3. Click into your newly created Scale to Win endpoint. 

  4. Leave all fields as they are, and then navigate to the “Triggers” section.

  5. In the “Triggers” field, select the type of form(s) that should always be submitted to Scale to Win. 

  6. Click Save and refresh to verify the connection.
