Welcome to Scale to Win Text! We are excited to power your texting needs with our next-generation texting platform that will revolutionize how you raise money, organize volunteers, and connect with voters.

  • Texter privacy: Texter phone numbers are never used to send messages. Text campaigns use numbers you register for in advance.

  • Fundraising features: With our new ActBlue integration, you can import donors, track campaign performance in the platform, and send messages automatically based on fundraising results.

  • Enhanced audience insights: Link tracking lets you see who’s engaging with your messages and easily retarget contacts who clicked the link in your original message.

Guide for New Admins

Is this your first time using Scale to Win Text? To ensure you're texting in the new tool as quickly as possible, please follow the steps below to set up your new account and take advantage of our latest features.


  1. If you are the Organization Owner, you must sign up for a Scale To Win Text user account via the invite email. Can’t find your invite email? Contact us here.

  2. Bookmark the new account URL sent to you in your onboarding email. It will never expire while your account is active.

  3. Register for texting numbers. Before you can text, you need to register for the phone numbers used to send your campaigns. You can either register for 10DLC, Toll-Free, or both. 10DLC numbers use local area codes (like your own phone number). Toll-Free numbers use 800 area codes (think 833, 844, etc.). 10DLC or Toll-Free number registration can be done through your account’s Phone Numbers page.

  4. Set up subaccounts, if you need them. With Scale to Win Text, you can easily create your own subaccounts to manage different texting programs from one place.

  5. Add your team. You can invite new users at either the Subaccount or Organization level. Learn more in the User Access Levels & Permissions article. 

    NOTE: As a security measure, Scale to Win Support cannot add new members to your account outside of the onboarding process.

  6. Set up integrations. Scale to Win Text offers integrations with NGP VAN / EveryAction, ActBlue, ActionKit, and Google Cloud Storage. While these integrations are all optional, they are a great way to enhance your texting campaigns.

  7. Build your first campaign! After your texting numbers have been configured and any desired integrations set up, you’re ready to start texting!

  8. Set up shortlinks. While this is optional, the link-shortening feature in STW Text allows you to incorporate powerful insights into your text campaigns by tracking link clicks and shortening the links in your texting scripts. You have two options for setup: 1) You can import your domain or subdomain, or 2) You can have Scale to Win purchase a new domain for you at no additional cost.
